My name is Marisa Mund. I graduated from the University of Mary with an elementary education degree in April 2020. I also received my Kindergarten Endorsement the summer of 2020. I have always enjoyed engaging with students and watching them grow and develop as learners and individuals. My first job was in a childcare setting, and I have continued assisting children since then. I soon came to realize that I would continue the path of serving and helping children.
In addition to the joy I have found in studying education and volunteering in area classrooms, I have spent a lot of my own childhood partaking in music. Music was always a wonderful way to express myself and to relieve stress. Theater was also an amazing creative outlet for me as well as having the opportunity to volunteer for local children's events as a performer. One of my goals for my students is to instill creativity and self-expression in them.
